Day 21- Past the halfway mark!

So it’s day 21 of my 40 day lifestyle change and I’m very used to what meals that are accustomed to healthy eating. I no longer scream myself to sleep from lack of sugar or go into hysteria from no baconators from Wendy’s or Chicken carbonaras from Quiznos. Check the vid:

When the weather is right, I love taking my scooter into the mountains and around the beautiful valley of Utah. I figured I would go out, shoot a quick qik video, and enjoy the rest of my Monday. It was an absolutely beautiful day today. And a very cool night. I’m sure I’ll sleep well knowing that this change of food habits is showing myself how much self control I have over what I eat as well as keeping my body in good health.

I do wake up in a cold sweat from time to time thinking about powdered jelly filled donuts though. I do want to challenge anyone that wants to ask any questions or present any articles to email me over at sean@sean-blake.com and I’ll be sure to reply. Heck, I’ll probably make a video for it!

Day 15 – …skipped a few days of blogging

But not my 40 days of my lifestyle change! I’ve been recording a few videos and checking around with different dietitians. I’ll post videos with those dietitians later this month. As for this post, I wanted to make a simple post about a dessert thats fairly good for you (if you lay off the cool whip….yeah you.)

Strawberries with grapes and cool whip. It’s a fairly simple dessert that’s healthy and quite tasty!

Simply cut up 6-8 strawberries, throw in some grapes, a fork and cool whip, and you are one set person. All you need is either a chick flick or your girlfriend…..to…..break up with you…… *cries profusely*

Water

Spicy chicken sammich

Day 12 – I can’t stress enough about portions.

I went to lunch and got a salad. I was thinking, a little bit of salad, some dressing, maybe some bread. Instead, they slaughter half a cow, throw on a palm leaf and the italian prime minister for a meal. This thing is freaking massive. Check the video:

A salad the size of a small baby

more salad
They cut a full fist sized tomato into fours. Thats how big it was.
Water
a handful of cereal

Day 11 – Fresh food, fresh air, and no carbonation

Day 11 and I was at work designing away. I then had the urge for water and strolled upstairs to the company fridge. The fridge door was ajar. as I thought who would leave the door open, I realized… they were restocking the fridge with my arch rival and admirer. Diet caffeine free coke. I held it and stared at it like the ring from Sauron. I fled out of the room before my actions took over me. Check the video:

Day 10 – Cravings are slowly diminishing

As days slowly pass, I realize that my hunger for a powdered jelly filled donut get worse and worse. I am starting to get into the rough part into my 40 day lifestyle change.
